Medium-dark roasts have a richer, darker flavor and color compared to medium roast coffee. Medium dark is that magical spot where the flavor and aroma of the roasting process just begins to become noticeable. If you could stand beside us while we're roasting, you'd know it's mere seconds after the second crack in the roasting process. Perfect if dark roast is a bit much for you, but medium not quite enough. Medum-Dark roast is often known as Vienna Roast or After Dinner roast.
